Craft Beer Happenings This Week in Colorado Springs

There's a number of great looking craft beer events happening in our region this week, so hopefully we'll run into each other at the pub! Check out the Christmas party at Great Storm and the list of tap takeover events at Brewer's Republic, very cool looking stuff, and a few other things of note as well. I'll update this list if I find more so check back if you're curious. ***UPDATED***

Wednesday, December 12

Great Storm Brewing Holiday Party / All Day 
204 Mount View Lane, Colorado Springs
Live music and five new beers tapped for the holiday party. Renowned local songstress Amy Sue Hardy will belt beloved bluesy holiday carols from 6pm to 8pm and GSB will bring the holiday cheer with some big, new flavorful brews. The following small-batch seasonal ales will be tapped at 11am on Dec. 12th.

• Wassail Ale - A Scottish Wee Heavy, with apples and cinnamon
• Working Girl Coffee Stout - A creamy sweet stout with dark roast espresso
• John Paul George Stingo - An English old ale, soured and oaked
• Wilder Brewing’s Singularity - An offbeat, peppery Belgian amber
• Thunderstroke Barleywine - A high gravity English ale aged ten months

Extreme Winter Beer Tapping at Trinity / 12pm
1466 Garden of the Gods Ave., Colorado Springs
Join us while we tap up some winter warmers that only come around once a year! We'll have beers from Avery, Boulevard, Port Brewing, Stone, Lefthand, and more.

Bristol Brewing Tap Takeover at Brewer's Republic / 4pm
121 N. Nevada, Colorado Springs
Continuing Brewer's Republic increasingly wonderful lineup of Colorado brewery tap takeovers. Tonight they'll have a set of beers from our local Bristol Brewing. Expect a couple seasonals on tap.

Friday, December 14

Ska Brewing Tap Takeover at Brewer's Republic / 4pm

Continuing Brewer's Republic increasingly wonderful lineup of Colorado brewery tap takeovers. Tonight they'll have a set of beers from Durango's Ska Brewing. The beers: ESB, True Blonde, Ten Pin Porter, Hop Ivy, Nefarious Ten Pin, Pinstripe, Mole Stout, Modus Hoperandi, Steel Toe Stout, Buster Nut Brown, Decadent IPA
