Another Busy Beer Week

Little did I know when I started this blog that I would almost never have a day off from drinking. There are a number of great looking events this week, followed by double the amount of events next week. The calendar on the left column can give you more detail and help you plan further ahead of time if you're interested. So, let's see what we've got coming up:

This is our third installment of the sour beer tasting. Join us at 6:30 at The Warehouse to taste 12 deliciously sour beers. The beers will range from slightly sour to mouth puckering monsters. Some with fruit added. The Warehouse will provide munchies and two courses of food to pair with the beers. The cost is $40 per person and includes a souvenir tasting glass. The dinner starts promptly at 6:30, so don't be late. Call Coaltrain at 719.475.9700 to make your reservation.

THURSDAY DEC 2nd
Bristol Brewing Christmas Ale Release Party - 5-9pm
Please join us for this year's batch of Christmas Ale! We brew up a tasty batch of our spiced Christmas ale annually to celebrate this most festive of seasons. Every year our brewers change up the spices to showcase new ideas and keep things interesting. This season's recipe was crafted by our own Bob Archibald. When he's not pouring beer at Bristol, Bob is an avid homebrewer. Please join us for this holiday delight!

SATURDAY DEC 4th
Trinity Brewing First Firkin Saturday - 12:00pm
Tapping at Noon, $3 pints!

Bristol Brewing Cask Tapping - 12:00pm
Tapping at noon, a one of kind IPA.

SUNDAY DEC 5th
Black Fox and Trinity Brewing Dinner - Sold Out
Unfortunately this event sold out. So just a reminder something like this comes up next time, be sure to order your tickets well in advance. They sold out with a week and a half to go. They will be pairing six saisons with six meals, including the first appearance of the long awaited Double Rainbow Saison, which won't be available to the general public until Dec. 10th.

Some Good Looking Beers on Tap:
- Rocky Mountain Brewery just announced an Albino Porter and Winter Warmer
- Phantom Canyon has the PC Breakfast Stout and a great 1936 Old Ale
- Black Fox will likely run out of their Diablo Black Saison today or tomorrow, so hopefully they'll have another awesome new beer up this week at Bristol.
- Trinity Brewing has the Chilly Water Baltic Porter on tap
